last prelude for the sea
When the snow danced dulcetly
Onto the warm welcoming ground
Twirling from the clouds
There was not a sound
Among the crowds
Blood flowed back into their placid lips
Breaking into a smile
The sun would rise as always
But with the passing years, months, and days
We would all grow old
The same story retold

When the snow started to fall hard
Merging with the cold rough ground
We wondered what this would bring
Would the birds no longer sing?
So we lingered in the dark
By the marshes and mazes
And set the world ablaze
with our guns
Pointing at an aching, burning sun

When the snowflakes accumulated
Into an immense mountain

inexistent galaxiesShe's always finding herself wishing on falling stars,
Keeping the queerest things locked away in her heart,
And regarding the homeless as true kings and queens.

She hears their whispers clearer than shouts,
Senses footsteps quicker than earthquakes
She sees fires in the meeting points of dry limbs
And sits without a word at a trembling television screen
Details of her knit scarf, more complex than the universe

It is strange how atoms rotate like planets,
And the galaxy returns to pure dust,
Maybe our galaxies are invisible existences
Our oceans meet at crossroads,
An unconceivable paradox
And our Time is nothing but mere sec
